This is our 44th installment of the one-page dungeon series. The objective is to create self-contained adventures/dungeons with all things necessary to spawn fun adventures on a single page. It is system-neutral so it can be easily ported to any system. It shouldn’t be much trouble to include it in any medieval setting.
In The Hierarch’s Sepulcher, the characters are hired by a concerned cleric who believes the sanctity of a sepulcher has been tainted by foul, wretched magic. Those in tune with the divine can perceive strange omens and dreams. Something has gone wrong in the hierarch’s sepulcher and they must do something soon before hell breaks loose.
This system-neutral adventure brings the heroes to an underground crypt in the local graveyard. Soon they shall discover that a necromancer apprentice dabbles with energies that no one should mess with. Some of the bodily remains in the tomb have already been brought from beyond the veil. Do the characters have the wits and courage to stop this madness?
