This is a short-module focused on an NPC, a quest-giver. In their search for job opportunities, renown, and glory, the characters gravitate toward influential people and beings. These quest-givers are the door to amazing adventures. The Gatekeeper is a demonic entity bound to a Planar Portal. She is magically compelled to protect it but has the benefit of full control over how it is used. This quest-giver is perfect for mid-to-high-level adventures where the characters need to reach a faraway, extraplanar location. Alas, the gatekeeper has an agenda of her own. The use of her portal is always preceded by a short quest that she has visitors do in another plane of existence.
