In Siege of the Griffin Wagon, the warriors of a small adventurers’ guild have a deadly encounter with a band of orcs and slay them all. They soon learn that one of the dead orcs is the son of Dorgath, the Red-Fang; the mightiest orc chieftain in the region. Expecting swift retribution from Dorgath, the guild members return to their base of operations, the Griffin Wagon tavern and start preparing for a fierce attack.
The adventurers are hired by Guildmaster Rudolph Amarik to strengthen their forces as the orcs are expected to reach the small roadside tavern in a few hours. The characters have this time to help the guild reinforce their defenses and get ready for the attack. The merciless orcs arrive in due time and force the defenders into the underground halls of the Griffin Wings’ Lair. Are the characters resourceful and brave enough to survive this attack?
This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
