The Crimson Playhouse brings the heroes to Madame Solenne’s beautiful establishment. However, the time has come for the Crimson Knight, interred in the mausoleum below the playhouse, to return to the world of the living and demand respect for his final resting place. Madame Solenne ignored the warnings when she built this establishment for gamblers and addicts, and now she pays a ruinous price.
This quest needs the heroes to explore the establishment, deal with the undead roaming around, and find a way to defeat the Crimson Knight or appease his anger. The Crimson Oath, the words that the knight stood for, might summon a neutral attitude from him if spoken out loud, but he will ask for the removal of the playhouse in return. What will the heroes decide?
This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
