117 – Well Hideout

DON’T FORGET TO VISIT OUR MAP INDEX AND OUR PATREON FUNDING PAGE ! Good day my friends ! Denizens of the Tower. Here’s a map the way I did a lot a few months ago, with isometric and topdown view. This is a hideout, warehouse or lair hidden down the well shaft. Perfect for a band of thieves or criminals, I believe this is best used with critters that could easily climb up and down like tabaxis or any other with climbing abilities. The well goes down 60 ft. to an underground pond, two storage rooms are built from the ground itself. I’d also like to thank the folks who recently subscribed to my Patreon page ! You all rock. An announcement. I’ll be moving to another city pretty soon but as soon as I’m back to business as usual, I’m planning to do the collaboration dungeon one more time, I’ll…

106 – Beholder Lair (Free PDF available)

DON’T FORGET TO VISIT OUR MAP INDEX AND OUR PATREON FUNDING PAGE ! As the party visits a known contact and patron they stumble upon tragedy. The person has hired the party a few times to get rid of petty criminals and some smugglers. The reason for the party’s visit this time is a letter they received. Their patron requested an immediate meeting to discuss urgent matter. The note said nothing more. When the party arrives to their patron’s home they discover that the man is now missing and no one has heard of him for two days. The last person to see him was a house servant who saw him go into his study and lock himself in. The two house servants do not own a key to the study but they know that there is a secret exit through complex tunnels. They believe their patron left. When the study…

105 – The Lost Orb (Free PDF available)

DON’T FORGET TO VISIT OUR MAP INDEX AND OUR PATREON FUNDING PAGE ! The orbs of dragonkind are fabled artifacts none alive has ever seen. They were tools of war eons ago. The ancient wizard giants who created them tapped into the very life-force of the multiverse to build them. The multiverse, when explored from the arcane standpoint, is like a piece of fabric. Each thread is a part of reality. Arcane theorists argue that each living thing is a piece of thread in the grand design of this piece of fabric. It came to be known as The Weave. The ancient giants became experts in reading and interpreting the curving of the Weave.   A secretive group of them were so adept they found a way to isolate pieces of the weave, tearing them apart from it. It was not long until they isolated the dragonkind piece of fabric, an almost…

Map 88 – Aboleth’s Lair

DON’T FORGET TO VISIT OUR MAP INDEX AND OUR PATREON FUNDING PAGE ! Aboleths are formidable foes. Humanoids, unaware of the lore behind the depth monsters mistake them for simple fish. Enormous but fish nonetheless. Only the very well read would know that aboleths are long-lived psychic masterminds whose plots and plans can span millennia, not because they can live that long, they can’t. It is because their superior brains contain all memories and past experiences of their parents , grandparents and all the way back to unknown ancestors. An aboleth can come up with a plot so long and ambitious that only its offspring would be able to carry it out. And they would, by sharing all memories and experiences from the parent. Gurynthx is an aboleth that took over a gnome underground laboratory. With the help of his slime slaves and other thralls they created a series of tunnels…

Map 81 – The Arcane Tablet

DON’T FORGET TO VISIT OUR MAP INDEX AND OUR PATREON FUNDING PAGE ! If adventurers ever visit this place, it is to access the arcane secrets hidden in the underground complex.  Few know that a secret to great magical power is encrypted in a stone tablet inside the complex. If the secret of the tablet ever comes to the wrong hands, a lot would be at stake. How big is the secret or the power is up to you to decide. Good day towerers and I’m glad to announce I created this illustration with the help of some architecture software to create the 3D view map. It looks like isometric but it really isn’t. If you find it amusing or useful, let me know in a comment, I plan on using stuff like this in the near future too. Good day everyone and thanks for your support.

Map 76 – Underground Lair

DON’T FORGET TO VISIT OUR MAP INDEX AND OUR PATREON FUNDING PAGE ! Announcement Maybe you did not know but I did all my work on GIMP (photoshop alternative).  However I just acquired a drawing tablet and it’s not supported. Sooner or later I had to take the plunge. So this is the first map produced entirely in Photoshop, it took more than usual because I’m getting used to it. It’s a superior tool and will help me deliver better results. Also, for those of you who check out the PDF documents, I’m also doing that now in InDesign. You’ll see that the quality of my PDF attachments has improved significantly. As always attached map versions are: DM map, PC map, background-less PNG and printer friendly B/W.
